There has been a caravan dealer in the Gosforth area since 1938. Over the years there has been a change of location to our current premises (in 1968) as well as a couple of different names and people involved along the way.

We are a small family owned business, with the current owner having taken over in 2013, from the original owner’s family. People see the Big Box Retailer image of the business initially, but really we are an independent small family firm.
About United British Caravans & Leisure
Most recently the business has transformer into a retailer of much more than just caravans. We now offer a range of motorhomes and campervans as well as stocking more lines than ever in our leisure shop. This has led us to rebrand slightly and we are now UBC & Leisure Limited. We still retain the trading style of United British Caravans as UBC is the second oldest caravan dealer in England, and this is still a massive part of what we do.

We are situated in the North East of England close to Scotland and on the border of Northumberland. Our surrounding areas are full of great destinations to explore whether you are camping, caravanning or taking your all new motorhome or campervan out for a spin. An ideal opportunity to see a part of the world you have never visited if you are picking up a new vehicle from us.
We have expanded our portfolio of leisure brands to include vehicles from across Europe.
